Process servers are hired by law offices, accountants, doctors, and individuals to give legal notice to a person of a court request of the served party to respond to a proceeding before that court. These court documents are known as process and are typically delivered, or served, by a legal process server to ensure safe and timely delivery.

Process Server applications for 2014 must be received no later than December 13, 2013. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Applications may either be submitted by certified mail or hand delivered to:

Once the 2014 Process Server Application is reviewed and a decision regarding appointment has been made, a letter will be forwarded to the petitioner's attention confirming his or her status as a Process Server via email. A copy of the official appointment will be attached for review.
If approved, your 2014 Process Server Appointment will remain effective for a one-year period beginning January 2, 2014. All process Server Appointments for 2014 will be posted on the Fulton Superior Court website.
