Complimentary Remote Access to Westlaw Edge Database for Legal Research

In partnership with the Thomson Reuter West Company, Fulton County citizens who need to conduct legal research are eligible for free remote access to the Westlaw Edge legal database for the time period of April 21, 2020 through June 30, 2020.

Here's how to get started:

  1. Access the Westlaw Edge trial page at: https://legal.thomsonreuters.com/en/forms/try-westlaw
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your contact information; in the Organization Type field, please select Government-Local
  4. Skip the "Add Colleagues" page
  5. Click "I agree to Terms & Conditions" and Click "Create Profile"
  6. Create OnePass Profile and Security fields
  7. Confirm your OnePass profile and Click "Get Started" to begin searching on Westlaw Edge
  8. Call the Law Library for connectivity issues: 404-612-4544
