MY LIFE MATTERS EVENT WITH SHAQUILLE O'NEAL

On Friday, May 8th, Judge Shawn Ellen LaGrua hosted former NBA player, Dr. Shaquille O’Neal, for her monthly “My Life Matters” probation compliance group meeting. With close to 500 participants, the group meets monthly to give updates to Judge LaGrua on their probation requirements, such as finding employment or completing their GED. Dr. O’Neal, a police officer and Television Analyst for Turner Sports, spoke to the group about the importance of second chances and participated in a question and answer session.
