FULTON COUNTY JURISTS PARTICIPATE IN PANEL DISCUSSION AND DOCUMENTARY
Chief Judge Gail S. Tusan and Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane participated as panelists and founding members of the Georgia Association for Black Women Attorneys' (GABWA) documentary titled "Herstory, - GABWA's Road to the Bench and a Legacy of Service". Footage from the event will be included in a video presentation chronicling the history of the organization. Held at the Olivia Hanks Cosby Auditorium on the campus of Spelman College, the panel featured founding members who are also current or past members of the Judiciary. Participants included Chief Judge Gail S. Tusan, Superior Court of Fulton County, Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane, Superior Court of Fulton County, Judge Barbara Harris, City of Atlanta Municipal Judge, and Judge Julie M. T. Walker, former City of Atlanta Municipal Judge. The event also acknowledged Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams, a former president of the organization and current member of the Superior Court of Fulton County.
