** ANNUAL MEDIATOR OPEN ENROLLMENT **
JULY 1 - AUGUST 30, 2019

The Fulton County ADR Office
is excited to announce a new enrollment process for
registered mediators beginning July 1, 2019.

This annual event will require registered mediators who are interested in joining
or remaining on the Fulton County ADR Roster to participate.



What's new?

  • The annual open enrollment event for the 2020 Fulton County Roster will be held July 1st - August 30th.

  • All mediators will be required to submit an application along with supporting certifications to the Fulton County ADR Office by the enrollment deadline.

  • Applicants will be required to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the Fulton County ADR Office.

  • The roster will be updated and posted on the Fulton County ADR website on or before January 1, 2020.

  • An Open House will be held on Friday, July 12th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Requirements for Active Mediators


Mediators who are already on the Fulton County ADR Roster will be required to submit only the informational portion of the application and the Memorandum of Agreement.

Mediators who are currently on the Fulton County ADR Roster will be exempt from the writing exercise and observation requirements.



Requirements for New Mediators


Mediators applying with the Fulton County ADR Program must meet the following qualifications:

  • Applicants must be registered and in good standing with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of mediation experience.

  • Applicants will be required to participate in a multi-tiered observation process.



Open Enrollment Timeline


- Applications will be accepted from July 1, 2019 - August 30, 2019

- Application review and observations will be conducted September 2 - December 13th

- Applicant notifications December 16 - 31st

- Updated roster will be posted on the ADR website on or before January 1, 2020.

A brief orientation will be held at 10:00 a.m.

New applicants are encouraged to attend the orientation.

A Mediator Application form must be submitted to:

Applications, supporting documents and signed Memorandum of Agreement must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019.

All applicants will be notified by the ADR Court Program Manager via email on or before December 31, 2019 to advise of their approval status.
