 Tom Campbell was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Fulton County Superior Court Bench, in May, 2004.  Prior to that, he served in the State House of Representatives from 1989 through 2004.  In 2004, he was given the Award for Republican Legislator of the Year.  Tom was in the private practice of law from 1965 through 2004.  He received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) and his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Georgia. 
He is a member of the Georgia, Atlanta, Gate City, North Fulton, and Sandy Springs Bar Associations.  He has served on Boards of the North Fulton Regional Hospital (Chairman), the Roswell Rotary Club, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the Northside Bank, the Roswell Visitors and Convention Bureau, the Chattahoochee Nature Center, Resources for Retarded Adults, and the Cottage School.
Tom is an active member of the Roswell United Methodist Church.  Tom and his wife, Martha, live in Roswell and have one daughter, Ann, and their granddaughter, Ashley.
