Judge Christopher S. Brasher joined the bench of the Superior Court of Fulton County on February 28, 2006, and was re-elected to a four-year term in November of 2006. Judge Brasher came to the bench after more than 15 years in public service, first as an Assistant District Attorney in the Alcovy Judicial Circuit, and then at the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. While at the Georgia Department of Law, Judge Brasher served under two Attorneys General, and had the opportunity to handle many important matters, including more than two dozen arguments before the Georgia Supreme Court, arguments before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and an argument before the United States Supreme Court in 2000. Additionally, Judge Brasher personally appeared and handled matters in the Superior Courts of more than 110 of Georgia’s counties. Judge Brasher’s other assignments included work on Georgia’s video poker ban, the G-8 Summit in 2004, and the Tri-State Crematory cases in state and federal court. Judge Brasher, his wife Jennifer, and their two children make their home in Johns Creek and attend Perimeter Church.
