The Honorable Ural D. Glanville, Judge, Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, studied at Brevard College and the University of Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor's of Art in History and Juris Doctorate. Upon graduation from the University of Georgia, Judge Glanville served on active duty from 1990- 1993 with the Judge Advocate Generals Corps of the United States Army, where he served as a prosecutor and defense attorney. As a civilian, Judge Glanville has served as a criminal prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and a civil litigator. In addition, Judge Glanville has served on the Faculty of Georgia State University College of Law, where he taught trial practice and litigation skills. Currently, Judge Glanville serves in the United States Army Reserves, JAG Corps, where he has attained the rank of Colonel, and is currently assigned as Commander of the 213th Legal Support Organization.

On August 10, 2004, Judge Glanville joined the Court after winning a contested election. In this regard, Judge Glanville serves as 1 of 20 Judges in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, where he presides over a wide variety of criminal and civil cases. Prior to joining the Court, Judge Glanville spent nine years as a Magistrate Judge in the State Court of Fulton County, Georgia.

Judge Glanville is married to Lisa, and they have two children. In his spare time, Judge Glanville enjoys vacations, reading, and movies.
