Public Information Policy
Court Hours 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
Thank you for your interest in the Superior Court of Fulton County. It is the Court's policy to provide information on a timely basis and to assure adequate and fair access to proceedings which the public has a right to attend. Court documents are not covered by the Georgia Open Records Act (see Official Code of Georgia - OCGA § 50-18-70 et seq.) or the Federal Freedom of Information Act, but the Court's policy is to provide access to all records that are not confidential.
Rule 22 (click if you want one)
Request to install recording and/or photographing equipment pursuant to rules and guidelines for electronic and photographic news coverage of Judicial proceedings.
- Rule 22s are faxed to the chambers of the judge holding the hearing. Judge fax numbers can be found on the Judges webpage.
- For first appearance hearings, fax the Rule 22 to the jail courtroom: 404-602-4741.
- It is always a good idea to request a return fax of the approved Rule 22 for your crew to have when arriving at court or the jail.

- NOTE: If you are filing a Rule 22 request for a civil case white out State of Georgia and enter name of plaintiff.
