As administrator of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia’s only single-county judicial circuit, Ms. Cramer is responsible for supporting the efforts of 19 Superior Court Judges and a staff of some 300 judicial employees of the state’s busiest trial court. Ms. Cramer’s career has included serving as a High School Language Teacher, a Probation Officer, Social Worker, Neighborhood Planner, Grants Manager and a rural and now urban Court Administrator.

Ms. Cramer began her court career at the local Common Pleas Court in Montgomery County, Ohio, where she was asked to develop a 12-County correctional institution for adult male and felony offenders. She served as its director, later co-authoring Ohio House Bill 1000, which established seven such institutions for adults in Ohio and codified this new approach to correction and rehabilitation of offenders.

In 1982, Ms. Cramer became the Court Administrator for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas where she served until 1993. In 1997, Ms. Cramer became the Court Administrator for the Superior Court of Fulton County, Atlanta Judicial Circuit, where there are presently 19 Superior Court Judges, six Senior Judges, and five Magistrates. The Court has implemented a Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and a Business Court. Ms. Cramer has served as President of the Ohio Association for Court Administration, President of the National Judicial College, and Leader of a Court Administration Delegation to China designated to assist the Chinese Courts to develop automation, case management and other court services.

A native of Ohio, Ms. Cramer worked on a Master’s in Social Work at Ohio State University, earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Dayton, and is currently earning a Master’s Degree in Divinity at the United Theological Seminary.
