The Superior Court of Fulton County Family Division provides litigants a simple way to obtain and fill out the legal paperwork needed to petition the court through a program called I-CAN!. I-CAN! is an interactive web-based system designed to provide assistance to self-represented litigants. Through a video guide, the I-CAN! takes users through a series of questions, then uses the answers to fill in sections of the legal form. The I-CAN! Modules can help with situations including: Child Support, Child Custody, Divorce and Name Change.
You can access I-CAN! system in both English and Spanish.
FLIC uses the services of contract attorneys who, on an appointment basis, provide 30 minutes of free consultation on domestic legal matters. More than 13,869 attorney consultations have been provided since FLIC opened in 1998. The service is available only to individuals who do not currently have legal counsel, and advice may not be provided to anyone when it has been determined that there is a legal conflict. Call the FLIC office to schedule an appointment for a free 30-minute legal consultation, 404-612-2789
Free legal clinics are offered through FLIC once a month. Call the FLIC office to find out the dates, times, and location of our monthly legal clinics, 404-612-2789.
